How does it work:

Read the Roadbook carefully before you start your journey! It will provide you with precious information about the region that you are about to discover. In addition to an introduction to the current situation of Portuguese wines is a specific description of the region and also a map for a better orientation.
Further informations to plan your itinerary will be the contacts and GPS coordinates of each suggested venues as well as the length of the itinerary and distances between the different places to visit, in order for you to get a feeling of how long the visits and travel to your chosen venues will take you.

Once you have the Winelands Roadbook in your hands:

 

1st step: 

Read the Roadbook carefully before you start your journey!

2nd step:

Now you may choose the venues/restaurants that tickled your curiosity
...and prepare your itinerary in order to utterly enjoy the experience. Have in mind the opening hours and also the days when different locations are closed. Do not forget to mention the reference "Winelands of Portugal" when making your reservation, and reserve well 24 hours in advance.

 

3rd step:

Now call the chosen venues/restaurants and reserve your visit / meal.
This allows you to change your itinerary, in case any of the venues/restaurants do not have availability.

Off you go on this enogastronomic discovery of Portugal !
When you arrive at the Quinta, Cellar or other tasting venue of your choice, please handle in the Voucher(s). Each Voucher is valid for 1 person  and includes the tasting indicated in the description of the chosen venue in the Roadbook.
The meal voucher will allow you to savour the best of local gastronomy a la carte, up to a value of € 35,- which should cover a 3 course meal with wines in most of the restaurants included to the program. If the restaurant you chose is of a higher price level the roadbook will advise you ! In case your consumption is bigger than the value mentioned above, you are kindly asked to pay extras on site.
Each itinerary includes between 8 and 13 different venues between wineries and restaurants , so once you have handed in your Vouchers you will still have a whole wealth of information to discover and taste on your own !
