B Portugal promotes Portuguese brands in Slovenia

"Portugal Late Night", an event organized in NAMA - major department store of the center of Ljubljana - has highlighted Portugal as a leading quality producer of wines, cheeses and fashion, an initiave of the B-Portugal platform. Also, DOC DMC was promoted as the wine tourism partner of this organization, celebrating tourism, wine and Portugal, all in one.

Around 1000 guests were present in this "late night" event, which has begun after the normal opening hours of shops. During all evening, the wines and gastronomy of Portugal were appreciated, and the references to Portugal lasted for long. There was a Show Cooking preparated by the Chef Ilídio Barbosa of Sheraton Hotel Porto, a performance of the fado singer Mateja Staric, and dancing and sports entertainment.

Fashion, wine and tourism are the principal products that B Portugal aims to reveal to an international market, and that is why this platform counts on DOC DMC as partner of wine tourism operator. David Valente, responsible for the B-Portugal initiative, refers that "it is because of the good reputation of their partnerships, the international targets selected, and the special types of events promoted that B Portugal has consolidated its success in Slovenia as a good model of destination promotion.
