DOC DMC stands for portuguese wine promotion at ITB 2012

With a new digital platform and several improvements on the commercial strategy, DOC DMC continues to expand its horizons, this time at the International Travel Events 2012, held in Berlin from March 6th to 10th.

ITB holds a leading position in the tourism sector, as Germany is the most important source of outbound tourism in Europe and also an important source to the portuguese inbound tourism.

With its growing oenotourism sector, DOC DMC was representing Portugal along with Turismo do Alentejo - brand new Winelands Tours & Travel, the main oenotourism product at DOC DMC, was well received by Germain operators, Scandinavian exhibitors, Eastern European countries, as well as by other portuguese tourism representations.

For the four days of the international travel market, the motto was always "Taste Portugal" and all the business professionals had the opportunity to degustate delicious wines and portuguese appetizers from the north to the south. DOC DMC has contributed to the promotion of remarkable portuguese wine productions, by organizing several wine tastings from the wineries that have been working with us.
